Bicho Batata //
Educational Toys
Bicho Batata is a toy store created by a passionate and inspiring mom called Evelyn. The name and the whole concept of the shop came from a playful memory: her daughter had a very cute toy made from a potato and some wooden sticks and she used to play it with her grandpa (Evelyn’s father). The potato toy became a tradition in the family and that’s why the store is called Bicho Batata (which means Potato Thingy in English).
From that core memory, Evelyn became excited to open a store where you
can find toys that explore creativity and sustainability, making kids experience childhood in a different way. It's a very friendly and fun brand, specialized in educational toys, mostly wooden-made. Inclusion and diversity are also some of the main values of the brand.
Poppy had the opportunity to create the whole branding for the store, from
the brand strategy, the lettering made by hand to the exclusive illustrations,
the development of the visual identity and the brand content and strategy
for social media.
